What we collect
- Contact details — name and email you provide when you submit the order form or email us.
- Order details — the plan you select and the message you send us.
- Service data — information needed to provision and operate your server, such as IP allocation and resource usage.
- Technical logs — limited server and network logs kept for security and reliability.
Our order form opens your own email client; we receive only what you choose to send.
Why we process it (lawful basis)
- Contract — to set up, deliver and bill the service you order.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the network secure, prevent abuse and improve the service.
- Legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting and law-enforcement requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including any period required to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting obligations. Account data is deleted on request once there is no longer a legal or contractual reason to retain it.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share data only with processors that help us run the service (for example, payment and infrastructure providers), under contracts that require them to protect it, and where required by law.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased where there is no overriding reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability;
- complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
To exercise any right, email support@swiftvps.cloud. We respond within one month.
